Be Wary – “Natural Dietary Supplements” for ED Have Prescription Viagra Mixed In

Dietary Supplements for ED are not Always what You Think

FDA announced that tests of the presumed dietary supplements marketed for sexual performance enhancement revealed presence of active medications including Cialis and Viagra as undeclared ingredients.

Unsuspected users of these supplements can experience a number of side effects.  People are lured with hopes and promise. However in the absence of any scientifically valid data about their benefits and with frequent reports of mixed-in prescription medications people should think twice about using them.

Dr. Shteynshyuger, a specialist in treating erectile dysfunction, says “Certainly men with ED should see and be evaluated by a physician who specializes in treating erectile dysfunction.  Erectile dysfunction is a sign of physiological problems and can mask many significant medical problems including hypertension, hormonal imbalances, diabetes and is a marker for coronary heart disease.  It is unwise to initiate self-care for ED without a proper evaluation.”

Jack Rabbit Dietary Supplement, 72HP, Evil Root, and Pro Power Max were found to have prescription medications mixed in.  This is a recurrent theme with FDA routinely finding mixed in prescription medications in dietary supplements that have efficacy.
