What is a Bladder Tumor or Bladder Lesion?

Bladder tumor or bladder lesion can be benign (non-cancerous) or it can be cancerous (malignant).  A bladder biopsy will usually be performed once a bladder tumor or bladder lesion is detected to see if it is malignant or benign.

Once the nature of the bladder tumor or bladder lesion is determined by the pathologist, an appropriate treatment can be chosen.
