Prostate and Urinary Problems.
[col type=”three-fourth last”]Prostate is a small gland sitting between the bladder and surrounding the urethra. Enlargement of the prostate gland can cause urinary problems in men. The urinary changes can be slight or severe. When the symptoms are moderate effective medical treatment or minimally invasive surgical treatment is available. For severe symptoms effective medications often work well as do minimally invasive surgical treatments.
Symptoms of enlarged prostate:
- Cannot hold urine
- Frequent urination
- Slow flow and narrow stream
- Waking up at night to urinate
- Urinary leakage
- Blood in Urine
- Bladder Infections (UTI)
Prostatitis can cause similar symptoms such as frequent urination and pelvic pain.
