How long does it take to perform Urolift?

It takes about 30 minutes to perform Urolift procedure in our office.

Is Urolift Procedure covered by insurances?

Yes, Urolift procedure is covered by many insurance companies including Medicare.

How long is the recovery after Urolift procedure?

Many men with office jobs can go back to work the same day or next day. You may experience discomfort during urination, burning and frequent urination for the first few days after procedure.

When can I stop taking medications for enlarged prostate?

Usually, we advise stopping prostate medications 3-4 weeks after the Urolift procedure. Dr. Shteynshlyuger will advise you when you can stop medications for your enlarged prostate.
